I’m deeply inspired by the whimsical elegance of nature. The peeling white bark of birch trees, the intricate, delicate arms of ferns that cover forest floors, the lush greens and the cool blues of trees and lakes; moments of enchanted elegance that feel like magic. I work mostly in watercolor, because I love the loose nature of the medium that can capture the subtle elegance and depth of nature in a very light and free manner.
