“Secret Garden” was created after the birth of Lizzie’s daughter as she struggled to reconnect to her own body and sense of self. This piece explores the twisted maze of new motherhood: the unpredictable change, the profound highs and lows, the struggles of self doubt, the daily monotony, the unimaginable love and the powerful evolution of self.
